Bound by SCR canon (character bible is SCR-controlled). Per-character clearance check runs against the clearance log before any deal closes.

What does "Recordings you actually own" mean?▼
Suno's Terms of Service revised 2026-03-26 ASSIGN ownership of paid-tier Output to the subscriber — it is not a license. SCR, as a Premier subscriber, becomes the owner of every recording it generates during the subscription term, and that ownership survives subscription cancellation. That's materially stronger than the pre-2026 industry norm and it's why our Performance License and Full Song License lead the menu.
How is AI disclosure handled?▼
Every released SCR track ships with DDEX AI Disclosure Standard fields and a C2PA-signed manifest via Adobe Content Credentials — never self-signed. The disclosure flows downstream to platforms automatically. Your contract includes an "AI-assisted production" disclosure clause and a credit-bar template you can use in your liner notes.
What are the two doctrines I see referenced in the contracts?▼
The two doctrines are (a) the copyright threshold under USCO January 2025 guidance — does the track contain enough meaningful human authorship to be copyrightable? — and (b) the platform-disclosure threshold — does the platform you're publishing to require AI-disclosure metadata? These two gates are INDEPENDENT. A track can clear (a) with chain-of-title strength but still need (b)'s disclosure, or vice versa. We assess both before quoting and we price accordingly.
What happens if a brand legal team raises a cease-and-desist concern?▼
We supply the brand-legal-ready chain-of-title pack as exhibits to every Performance / Full Song / Commission license: AUTHORLOG, Suno ownership-assignment cite, USCO Jan 2025 human-authorship work documentation. Our contract carries a liability cap at the license fee. For Character tier deals, we verify the per-character clearance log row before signing — PENDING characters don't go to contract.
How does the rename-resolution workflow work?▼
When a real person, place, or third-party brand could ambiguously appear in a track or character bible, we resolve via rename rather than cease-and-desist hardening. Two canonical examples (both 2026-05-31): the track "Equalizer" was renamed to "Restorative" — clearance log Row 63 — and the character "Simona Kossak" became "Soraya in Białowieża" on Luna & the River — clearance log Row 68. Both flipped to CLEARED-AFTER-RENAME and ship today. We document the audit trail so brand-legal teams see how we handle these.
What's the pricing principle?▼

Can I license a track that's marked "clearance pending"?▼
Not until clearance lands. We surface the blocker in the embedded menu so you can see exactly what we're waiting on (typically: a partnership-papering with a real-world counterpart). If the resolution path is a rename — like Restorative — the unblock is usually weeks, not months. Custom Commission is always open as an alternative path.
